October is here, with all that the fall season brings. Cooler weather, the gorgeous fall light and the inkling of that sensation we get when we know that the holidays are around the corner. Although it feels like there is plenty of time before the “big” holidays – that is, Thanksgiving and Christmas – that time is going to fly! We’d like to help you get ahead of the curve this year. If you’re planning on gifting some fabulous jewelry to your friends and loved ones, how about popping into the store and setting up a layaway plan now?

Layaway is not new – it’s been around for ages – and is a great way to both avoid interest charges and reduce the financial burden in January when all the other holiday bills are coming in. Our layaway plan is simple: pick the piece you want now and put a deposit down to hold it. You can add more to the deposit at any time you want, before paying the balance and picking the item up prior to Christmas. This spreads the cost over 2 or even nearly three months. Even if you end up using your credit card for the final balance, you have still greatly reduced that bill and you’ll love that come January! We like the idea that your money stays in your pocket, and doesn’t go to the finance companies.

There’s another great benefit to this plan. Once you pick your piece, it comes out of our display case and is safely ensconced in our safe. This means no one else can beat you to it and you are 100% sure it’s there for you when you want it. Obviously, we get super busy around Christmas time and inventory gets reduced as people “buy, buy, buy”! If we have your piece picked and put away, you know it’s yours.
