Usually, when we think of Christmas, we generally focus on the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, planning those wonderful gatherings and meals with family and friends and just plain all-out celebrating. But this year, we’d like to challenge ourselves and all our customers to think a little bit further than our immediate circle of family and friends, and to think about others in our community who may need our help. Helping others is what Christmas is all about, after all, and we’re determined to do so this year, with your help!
We love our community and want to give back, so we have decided that, this year, from December 1st through December 17th, we are going to ask all of our family, friends, acquaintances and customers to drop by the store and donate non-perishable food items so that we can donate these to Life Styles. Life Styles is a non-profit organization that focuses on assisting adults with disabilities live life to its fullest and ensure that they are incorporated into all aspects of community life. In addition to its many programs, Life Styles offers a residential living facility where the goal is to support its people to live as independently as possible. Our collection of non-perishables will go directly to this program, which is very near and dear to our hearts.
